Tropic Snow Peach Tree (Height: 3 - 4 FT)

The Tropic Snow Peach Tree is named for the snowy white flesh of this warm weather performer. The Tropic Snow Peach Tree was bred through a partnership between the University of Florida and Texas A&M University, and is designed to thrive in Northern and Central Florida, or anywhere with a similar climate. Tropic Snow Peach Trees are suited for USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 8 to 9, where they will do best in the ground, in direct sun, and in well-drained soil. You can also grow a Tropic Snow Peach Tree in a pot in Zones 4 to 10. Tropic Snow Peach Trees only need 225 Chill Hours (hours below 45ºF) each year to bloom and produce peaches. Tropic Snow Peaches are yellow-green with a pretty pink blush, have white, melting, freestone flesh, and are easy to grow and maintain. The trees grow to 18 feet tall and 15 feet wide, so you can fit one in almost any yard. The Tropic Snow Peach Tree’s self-fertile flowers bloom in spring and the small, sweet peaches are ready to eat in the summer. Add one or two to your fruit tree collection and enjoy the sweet rewards of the white-fleshed Tropic Snow Peach.
