You can easily control the viewing direction in Ego Shooter or flight simulators.There are two basic modes of operation:Mouse emulation mode: In mouse emulation mode, the TrackIR takes over the function of the mouse, i.e. control of the mouse movement and the mouse view in games. As soon as you move your head, the direction you want to look in also changes. The TrackIR mouse mode can be used in EVERY game in which the viewing angle can be controlled using the mouse or with hotkeys. You can use your real mouse and the mouse emulation simultaneously. If you move the mouse, TrackIR simply transfers control to the mouse. As soon as the mouse is stationary again, TrackIR takes over control again immediately. Simply perfect!TrackIR in Microsoft Flight Simulator X and 2004With TrackIR, you have the option of taking over control of the viewing direction of the pilot in the virtual cockpit. Whether you are racing along the runway or in the final approach in the Boeing 747, a small movement of your head gives you a realistic view field of the world outside your cockpit. Straight orientation for VFR flights but also turns in the final approach are made much simpler and more realistic thanks to this device. The objective of the TrackIR 5's design was primarily to increase the service life and to minimize the difficulties of the USB cable. Therefore, a magnetic base was integrated in the design, enabling complete separation of the visual field from the mounting frame. The light filter on the TrackIR 5 has also been improved, and now allows for better filtering of light irritations directly in the software.
