The OROID-M1 single-board computer is based on a Rockchip RK3568B2 and has a 4 GB RAM LPDDR4 DRAM memory. The 2 GHz CPU has four ARM Cortex-A55 processors with low power consumption and high efficiency.The single-board computer is cooled via a large heat sink on the underside and supports the SATA and NVMe memory. It has an HDMI and MIPI DSI video output, Gigabit Ethernet, and two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports. An RTC backup battery holder and a 40-pin GPIO header complete the picture.An standard 22mm x 80mm M.2 NVMe memory can be mounted directly on the OROID M1 board. The M.2-connection has a PCIe 3.0 2-lane configuration, which enables an ultra-fast transmission of up to 1600 MB/s. A native (non-USB) SATA 3.0 port is provided for connecting a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD NAND hard disk.The built-in 16 MB SPI flash memory preinstalled bootloader Petitboot helps manage various operating system and kernel versions and supports booting from microSD, eMMC, NVMe, SATA and USB storage media.
