The Permeate Pump forces product water into a storage tank, reducing membrane back pressure, maximising available feed pressure. The pump dramatically increases a performance of Reverse Osmosis units, reducing waste water by up to 80%. Permeate pumps can also bring storage tank up to line pressure and then can shut the flow when the tank reaches capacity, eliminating the need for hydraulic shut-off valve.
