Following 2015's Corpse Party live-action adaptation comes the sequel Book of Shadows, based on the second title in the survival horror adventure game series. Director Yamada Masafumi and the original main cast, including Nogizaka46/AKB48 member Ikoma Rina, Maeda Nozomi, D-Boys member Ikeoka Ryosuke, Kita Yoko and Bee Shuffle member Jun, return for the sequel. The teen horror also brings in more young new faces including gravure model Ishikawa Ren, Mizuishi Atom (Garo), Aoki Tsunenori (Kamen Rider Gaim) and Ishimori Nijika of Keyakizaka46. Half a year after losing their close friends, high school girls Naomi (Ikoma Rina) and Ayumi (Maeda Nozomi) decide to return to the scene of the tragedy, Tenjin Elementary School, and try to bring back their friends.
