Directed by Hayato Kawai (My Love Story!!), Let's Go, Jets! is inspired by the true story of Fukui Commercial High School's cheer dancing team Jets that won at the 2009 NDA National Championship in the U.S. Hirose Suzu leads the spirited youth film as Tomonaga Hikari, who originally joined her school's cheer dancing club to cheer on her friend Kosuke on the baseball team. Instead, what awaits her is a super tough advisor aiming for the nationals. Put through a Spartan-like training routine, Hikari and her teammates strive through grueling practices and dating bans towards the dream of becoming champions in competitive cheer dancing. Nakajo Ayami and Yamazaki Hirona join Hirose on the cheer squad, while Amami Yuki plays the commanding team advisor and Hirose's Chihayafuru co-star Arata Mackenyu plays Kosuke.
