Based on the novel Utsukushii Kare by Nagira Yuu, the BL romance follows the relationship and growth of unlikely lovers played by Hagiwara Riku and Yagi Yusei. In high school, awkward and insecure Hira Kazunari (Hagiwara Riku) fell hopelessly in love with popular and beautiful classmate Kiyoi Sou (Yagi Yusei), to the extent of idolizing him. After graduating high school and experiencing various twists and turns, the two reunited and affirmed their feelings for each other. As Hira's college days draw to a close, he starts working as a photographer's assistant. The distance between them begins to grow because Hira doesn't want to get in the way of Kiyoi's acting career. In Hira's eyes, Kiyoi is like a god, but Kiyoi just wants an ordinary love on equal footing.
