Korean American director Lee Isaac Chung brings the moving story of immigrants on screen in his semi-autobiographical film Minari! Having garnered numerous accolades from different critic awards and festivals, Minari follows a Korean immigrant family living the American dream in the 1980s, with the cast of Steven Yeun (Burning), Han Ye Ri (Illang: The Wolf Brigade), Youn Yuh Jung (Keys to the Heart), Alan Kim, Noel Cho and Will Patton (Halloween). Veteran actress Youn Yuh Jung received over 40 awards for her role as grandma Soon Ja, and made history as the first-ever Korean recipient of an acting award at the Academy Awards. In 1983, the Yi family moves from California to a rural area of Arkansas, hoping to make a new start. While Jacob (Steven Yeun) strives to make a living with his new farm and produce, Monica (Han Ye Ri) isn't so optimistic about their new life and worries it may not be the best for their children. Monica's mother Soon Ja (Youn Yuh Jung) travels from Korea to the U.S. to help take care of the kids, and they gradually cultivate new perceptions and mindsets as they experience more together. This edition comes with a 40-page booklet, eight photo cards and special features including audio commentary, deleted scenes, trailer and making-of features.
