This attractive set incorporates wood columns between a metal base and top for an elegant chess set design. The metal surface of each piece is decorated with a unique ornamental engraving giving them a luxurious appearance. The king is 7.5 cm (approx. 3") tall and has a base diameter of 2.5 cm (approx. 1"). The pieces are made from solid cast zinc formed by the old-world lost-wax casting process and are brass and nickel plated.
